Hi all. I kinda like the idea of a third world country,  with no infrastructure, no phones, no tech.  Perhaps for Vampires longing for their birth world, or world of old.   Intel world be spies and rumour.  The Inquisition could be a mob.  Perhaps Vampires could masquerade as Pharoahs, beasts could be pets,  and followers (food) could be traded at market places.   Alternatively,  I like the idea of Sydney.  With the iconic Harbour Bridge.... as a symbol of  conjunctions,  of connection and  confrontation. Grandure, power and success above, and homelessness, grime and darkness below.  Rich and established on one shore,  transient and reinventing on the other.  I see coloured lights shimmer upon the dark waters beneath the bridge as drab figures make advances between the shadows ....

I like the idea of Montreal, as it was my old hometown. I would also like to see an Asian city, like Tokyo, Seoul, Hong Kong, or Taipei, just to see a different aesthetic to the Vampires.

Tokyo, Japan. The urban infrastructure, for one: cramped, narrow streets are perfect for surreptitious attacks on unsuspecting prey. The town is rife with history, and organized crime still plagues the underbelly despite governmental deterrents. The buttoned-down daily bustle of commerce is starkly contested by its neon-accented nightlife.

    Tokyo sounds fun.

Love the idea of Madrid. Also, Rome or Venice.  Rome for the tie into the Vatican and more SAD members directly related to the church and of Course Venice, well just because.

I hope Renegade conciders some of these cities. Can't wait to see what is next.

Unfortunately, the new cities, while cool, are not going to add as much variety as one might think.

In the City Deck, we have:

4 Special Affairs Division. While we could have some variety here across cities, it's likely not something flavor based but more variety based (i.e., have a couple 3 blood and one 5 blood one, for example)

12 Mortals. Arkwork would certainly be updated, but the Attachment benefits are pretty carefully balanced. Some variety would be possible here, especially as new clans are added, but as above, it would be more about variety than actual city flavor (though could certainly mesh for a couple of the card variants).

1 Prince of the City. New artwork at a minimum, possibly even a different title, but how much could the effects be varied?

10 Event cards. HERE is where things will be very city specific as only a few of the San Fran events are wholly generic in title and effect.

So, in summary, when picking additional cities, our focus should be on what cool Events we can think of for that city, for it is here where both the flavor and variety will synergize for maximum effect.

I don't understand the argument. It isn't set in stone that every city needs 4 Special Affairs Divisions, 12 Mortals and 1 Prince of the City. Furthermore there could be new card types introduced in the future.
