Madden 24 offers a wide array of special moves to make the offense shine against opposing defensive players, including all passes. In addition, EA Sports has added many new animations and enhanced the skill-based passing system, giving fans greater control and more realism. That being said, you can pass the ball to your teammates in a few different ways in the game. If you don’t know what they are or how to do them, we outlined exactly how to throw all passes in Madden 24 down below to make things easier for you.

        High Pass
This pass lets your receiver avoid underneath and smaller defenders. Also good for avoiding swats. To do it, hold L1 on the PS, LB on the Xbox, or ALT on PC while also pressing the button of whoever you’re passing to.

        Low Pass
A lower pass is good for keeping the ball away from defenders behind the receiver. This pass type also has much less accuracy. In order to do this Pass, you will need to press down on the left stick on either the Xbox or PS or hold the left CTRL button while also simultaneously pressing the button of whoever it is that you want to pass to.

        Bullet Pass
The most common type of pass which is a faster pass great for getting the ball out quickly. To execute it, perform on all platforms by holding the button of the receiver you wish to throw to instead of tapping it.

        Touch Pass
A less commonly used pass that is good in specific situations to avoid underneath defenders. Performed by holding the button of the receiver for a brief time. The time is less than that to perform a Bullet Pass but not a tap.

        Lob Pass
This pass is done to help the receiver avoid tackles. To accomplish this, simply tap the button of the receiver you wish to target—and don’t forget to check if there’s a safety playing over the top.

        Lateral Pass
Lateral pass is one of the tactics that most players don’t even know. These tactics are the best solution when your opponent’s defense has reached you, and now you are stuck and need to pass the ball to the other player and make your way into the endzone. To accomplish it, you need to press LB on Xbox, L1 on PS, or the middle mouse button on PC.

        Throw the Ball Away
Even the best quarterbacks fail to pass the ball sometimes, and even the best receivers get blocked by defenders. So throwing the ball away can be a Madden 24 player’s savior. While in the passing pocket, drift back and press the right stick (R3) to throw the ball away. Use the left stick to aim for one of the out-of-bounds areas. To do the same on PC, press X on the keyboard before passing the ball. Unlike a pass, a throw-away doesn’t have a receiver. In other words, the passer tosses the ball out of bounds. This is often done to avoid losing the ball or facing fumbles or turnovers.

That’s everything you need to know about how to throw all passes in Madden 24. Now that you have known all of them, there’s nothing holding you back from lighting your opponent up through the air.
