    Hello there,

I would like to ask how would final decks look like?

What is maximum copies of cards and vampires in the gameplay decks and how many cards in maximum?

Also how many copies of cards and vampires are in the base deck?

Its just general question to know how many base sets will we have to buy to make a gameplay deck.

    Thank you

I speak only from what I gathered from KS and Vampire Wednesday chats, and the rule book.

No more than 3 of 1 type of card per deck. Min of 40 card +7 vampires, 1 Haven, and 1 Agenda. The core box will come with 4 clan specific pre made decks (49 cards each), one for each clan. Brujah, Toreador, Ventrue, and Malkavian. The exact card counts and build are not released. Renegade has done some deal dives into certain clan decks.

Like many CCG/LCG or Expandable Card Games you will usually want to have a thin deck to have a greater chance to see the cards you want/need. I am sure they(Renegade) will set up some max number for Tournaments but it is not covered in the rules at this time.

Renedgae has said there will be enough to have the max of each library card in you deck(3), some of these cards may appear in the crypt deck, or even in other starting decks. As each vampire, haven, and agenda is unique you will have only one of each. Note: if you backed you may have unique art cards for some of the clan leaders - 6 cost Vampires. They are exactly the same besides the art.

If you are not wanting to use the same vampires, havens, or agendas. You will likely be good with 1 base set. However if you like to really customize decks you may want to get 2 especially if you do not want to break up and reconfigure decks all the time.

I kickstared it for 1 set, if later down the road I decide I need more I can get another base box, but expansions may make this a moot point. Renegade has already teased the first expansion. Tremors and Thin Bloods.

Only you can decide what is right for you.

I recall that they have said in a "Vampire Wednessday" that the max deck size was 60 cards (for the library deck). The faction deck, I believe, is always exactly 7 cards.

    Turning me more curious :)

I tried Vtes. .and I must admit that things I did not like there here appear to be fixed. So Iam really curious..

Indeed - the Minimum size of your deck will be 40 cards with a max of 60 cards. In addition to this deck, you will have a crypt of exactly 7 cards with no duplicate vampires. You will also have 1 Haven and 1 Agenda - none of these 9 cards count towards the 40/60 deck limit and are required.
