Diablo 4 has officially launched worldwide, granting players the opportunity to explore Sanctuary, build their ideal characters, and confront the demonic entity Lilith. While the game offers extensive content to keep players engaged, some are curious about upcoming updates.

To address this, Diablo 4 will introduce new seasons of content every three months. Let's delve into what we know about the game's first season.

The developers have made a commitment that Diablo 4 will receive a fresh season every quarter, ensuring that each subsequent season will deliver a minimum of the following:

...additional gameplay features, questlines (with new and old faces alike), Battle Passes, Legendary Items, class balance changes, quality-of-life improvements, and much more.

    Exciting, right?

Diablo 4 Season 1: Release Date

Season 1 of Diablo 4 is set to commence in the middle to late part of July, as per an official blog post by Blizzard Entertainment. As we progress through June, more specific details regarding the exact release date for Season 1 will likely be revealed.

Diablo 4 Season 1: New Content

Season 1 will bring fresh content, including questlines featuring new and familiar characters, adjustments to class and gameplay item balance, the addition of new legendary items, and various gameplay enhancements. However, to access Season 1, players must first complete the game's campaign with at least one character. Blizzard recommends finishing the campaign beforehand to ensure a seamless transition into the new season.

Diablo 4 Season 1: Battle Pass

Furthermore, Season 1 will introduce the game's inaugural battle pass. By simply playing Diablo 4, players can progress through the battle pass and unlock rewards. Each season will feature a new battle pass consisting of 90 levels. Each level achieved unlocks a new reward, allowing players who reach level 90 to acquire a total of 90 rewards. Engaging in activities such as battling demons, conquering monsters, completing dungeons, and participating in endgame content will earn players battle pass XP, enabling them to ascend to higher tiers.

The Battle Pass offers two pricing options: a Premium version priced at 1,000 Platinum ($10) and an Accelerated version priced at 2,800 Platinum ($25). Deluxe Edition owners will automatically gain access to the Premium version, while Ultimate Edition owners will receive the Accelerated version.
